On Friday, October 12, North Lamar ISD turned pink as the entire district celebrated Pink Out, an annual tradition aimed at raising awareness and showing support for breast cancer fighters, survivors, and those impacted by the disease. The district was awash with a sea of pink as students, staff, and community members came together to support this important cause.

Adding to the excitement of the evening, it was also Youth Night, making it an extra special event for the North Lamar community. Members of the North Lamar Youth Football Association and cheerleading teams had the opportunity to take center stage by running through the iconic Panther head just before the game kicked off. Their enthusiasm set the tone for an unforgettable night of Panther pride and unity.

Youth cheerleaders also had the chance to team up with the varsity cheerleaders, bringing an added level of spirit and energy to the sidelines. Cheering side by side, they represented the future of North Lamar athletics, inspiring the crowd and demonstrating the importance of fostering strong relationships between younger athletes and their high school role models.

North Lamar ISD extends its gratitude to all participants, coaches, parents, and community members who helped make this event a tremendous success. The combination of Pink Out and Youth Night was a powerful display of Panther pride, community spirit, and support for an important cause.
